Bold Brights

After a fortnight of lovely weather... suspiciously lovely weather for this time of year... London decided to do what it does best and hammered it down today with rain - boo! :(

Amongst the wet and moody commuters I travelled home and decided that I needed some bright in my life to perk me up a bit. With that in mind, I've had a bit of a hunt and come up with a collection of super bold and beautiful items from across the web.

Pretty Prim

So I'm back again at Yonder Wonderland with another post for you! One of my favourite trends that seems to spring forth every year without fail is 'pretty in pink'. Romantic, ruffles, fluffles, sugar and spice and all things nice - whatever you want to call it, it's feminine and fab and I love it!

For years I refused to be a girly girl and spent all my time living in my Vans slip-ons and baggy jeans, but now I have embraced the joy that is pink and I've never looked back. Well... of course I don't spend all my time dancing around looking all high-maintenance, but I do enjoy making an effort every now and then to doll myself up a bit. With that in mind, I've put together a few items that I consider... pretty!

Ahoy There!

What a perfect way to start a new blog - the sun is shining, the birds are singing and Spring has most definitely sprung. Those of you who follow fashion will agree that the SS/11 collections that are flying out at the moment are absolutely stunning and offer so much versatility. Over the next few weeks I'm going to plonk down some of my favourite pieces off the high street and combine them into an outfit. I'll number the items and let you know where they come from so that you can easily find them online or in the shops - how nice am I! 

So this week I thought I'd start with an old favourite, inspired by the boat race that took place in London yesterday - it's the sailor look!

So there we have it, a few fun items with a nautical twist. Remember that if you're pulling off the sailor look you are more than able to mix up spots and stripes, so long as you stick to the same colour palette e.g. red, white and blue.
